Paaparao Bhayya, I have pretty good idea about how costly things became in India. But you seem to be missing a couple of things.

1. Things are not costly just in India, there is inflation and price rise in the US and Europe also. So even for arguing it doesn't stand that only India is costly. The war in Ukraine has only exacerbated the issue. It would have been an issue only if inflation was in India and everywhere else was good.

2. Even if common people say we don't care about other countries things are costly in India, the congress hasn't given any way of how they will solve this price rise. All they have said is they will give freebies.  This will make the deficit only bigger.

That is why I said that congress has decided to just attack the govt to come back into power. UPA2 oil bonds is being paid by Modi govt till recently. So if you want gas and petrol for cheap and then turn in Sri Lanka and Pakistan, then you have the congress current plans to go to.

People can support Congress or BJP based on what they think is important. And yes country is also important, otherwise with all the GDP increase and development if you have bomb blasts what is the use? The place i used to visit as Engineering student went up in a blast, so yes safety is also important for me personally along with host of other factors.

People seem to have forgotten about warnings that if you see any isolated objects report to police first and also the fact people at one point felt they may not come back home if they left house in the late 2000's when there were a series of bomb blasts in the country.

Contrary to what many people believe, its not BJP that brings religion, its congress that brings in religion due to which there is polarization and its BJP that has taken direct advantage of it.

 If they win in 2024 by miracle, Congress leaders will fully concentrate on making money. After all, they've been out of power for 10 years! 

With China's war with Taiwan around the corner, there is a need for strong government at the Center. If not, there's a chance India might be used as a pawn in the geo political games.
