If you learn how to pronounce words correctly, you’ll get some good natural American accent automatically. But if you try to show accent in a hurry before perfecting your pronunciation, it will become fake annoying accent. School-going kids get to learn pronunciation first and have no issues with accent.

My pronunciation and accent are as good as hers (people ask me, “Were you born here?”). It‘s some work to learn correct pronunciation first but not hard. There are apps and there are courses on Udemy for grammar and pronunciation. Conversing with Americans helps a lot.

Learn it and “use” it. It’ll reward you. You can do it.
