Sometime back, when Indian students were denied entry in the US, oka Uncle TV9 interview ki ochi valla abbayi ki university of Bridgeport lo ochindi, vaadni allow chesaru migilinollu anta bokulu, ani show 10gadu. That's all I know about this University.

Between 2007-2015 I used to hear news on frequent gun shootings on students, Not heard anything recently looks like students stopped coming to bridgeport these days or the location have less crime compared to those days

I am frm UB ….

Pretty descent and holds the record for one of the biggest library of all Univ..in the states.. proff/lectures/labs are nicely equipped and more informative.

i used to stay in dorms whoch is safe and secure 

Others used to stay off the campus and heard the insecurites in and around while walking to and fro to the campus and ..heavy crime rate during the mid afternnons and late nights..

Gal or boy whoever is going out to study their stick to campus and prefer college shuttles for shopping and roam around otherwise no worries !!

try to contact Desi students there through FB, you will get some clarity petty thefts like Phone theft, Wheel Jacking are common thing there, Shootings will not happen near the university area avoid going to the beach   side during the evenings.You may come across some Nazi groups ,  Arab groups (Palestinians) and Bangladeshi groups avoid conflicts with them.

college ok but dont stay in that city..

Worst student intake..lot of junk from hyderbad went to this univ and new haven in recent times..crime rate is high..high visa rejection as well
