Instead of going to this upper telugu meetings [ with items songs on stage and etc], you could have used those $250 for something good. You should focus on how to build your career in this country rather than going to those silly meetings with silly celebrities. Organizers conduct this meetings to improve their political and cine connections by collecting money from folks like you. 

Please think about it. I think your husband also misguiding you.
