Rental car accident, Claim with Visa credit card process idea vunda ?

Long weekend trip lo Enterprise rental car bumper damaged, we declined their insurance when taking car.Car return chesinapidu, they took my insurance info but said they will not do any claims to my insurance.  Repair Bill $1200 pampinchadu enterprise vadu. What are my options now? My visa signature card has rental coverage, can i use it to cover the expenses?

Is it a secondary coverage? Don’t you think they ask claim information?

If it is primary coverage call credit card benefits line and tell them..they will need police report if it is accident and then they will take  it up with enterprise..if it is secondary coverage then good luck your insurance has to pay first and then claim goes to credit card company

Which one would you show as proof of insurance? I don’t think your credit card gives you all insurance coverage benefits. If that’s the case, why would you even have separate insurance?

Proof ante..i gave my insurance info to Enterprise. But they didn't file any claim. If I tell my credit card that I dont have insurance, card valle pay chestaru ani friend cheppadu..but is that right to do?

evadu aa friend… basic sense lenattundhi…. don’t listen to such cheap suggestions. Driving without insurance is illegal and you will get penalized. What’s the reason for not opening claim? Just the fear of premium increase?

There are two types of  rental car coverages with credit card

Primary coverage-- your credit card would be the first to cover the damage of the car some good credit cards will have these

Secondary coverage--first your insurance pays and next credit card pays .

Depending on your card benefits it will be primary or secondary

Ee rendu lekapothe credit card vaadu kattadu..not all credit cards will have rental car insurance coverage

If your personal insurance covers the rental car go ask rental company to file a claim. If the deductible is 1000 then just pay the 1200. It doesn’t make sense to make a claim if it’s just 200 bucks difference.

Yaa premium increase ani.if my card doesn't cover, i will pay enterprise and settle the claim
