Ram Gopal Varma political gimmicks

With slew of flops Varma has started Raktha charitra with life story of Paritala Ravi in 2008, expecting TDP will come into power in 2009 hence the movie will be a hit. With changing political scenario and Congress has captured the power again in 2009; afterwards Varma has changed script for Suri political career, bowed his head to the political pressure.  The movie is undoubtedly financed by Suri and his relatives, one of the co producers for the movie Chinaa Vasudeva reddy is close to Suri family in Ananthpuram district. Of the two parts, first part of movie has shown evolution of Ravi in the state politics as a hero. The crucial second part of the story and screenplay was tilted towards Suri and family by showing them as hero for second part with end of Ravi era.  Hence, he chosen Surya for this character with infusion of Suri money into film (initially Suri character meant for Manoj Bajpai).  Tamil hero Surya is close to YS Jagan and he is brand ambassador for Bharati cements.

Suri is desperately needed the mass media support for building his political career after release from Jail, thereby he chosen cinema for propping up his image as hero at least in the second part. Moreover, it has been release in the Tamil too; hence, there is no chance for negative shades for Surya character. Besides, Varma has tried to malign legend NTR character as he supported murders in  Ananthpuram district.  Paritala has statewide network in his political careers, but Suri is not even a elected leader in Penugonda and Dharmavaram constituencies.  Consequently, started as Paritala Ravi life story, now it has ended up as sponsored life story of Suri.  Ultimately, Varma has tried to change historical facts for political benefits some failed politicians in the Ananthpuram.
