i know one uncle who goes once every 3 months for 2 weeks or so to see his parents.

recently couple of my friends moved permanently to India due to same probelm

In most of the cases it is Parents who encouraged us to go to US and they did not think about the long term consequences. Karma is bitch

On a serious note it's most of NRIs faced issue always on the back of the mind..shuttling only can do for a year or two..most recently somenof my USC friends and GC friends moved permanently due to same reason
