Yes that’s true. Gc will be abandoned if you live more than 180 days outside us. But you can apply for re entry permit and stay for 2 years outside USA with out gc gets abandoned.

Another trend I am seeing is as soon as ppl get Citizenship they are sponsoring parents for GC and bringing them here. For insurance parents are doing peru kosam greeter job in walmart/target and do timepass.

But I could see those parents are unhappy. Few of them aiyte GC ledu bokka ledu ani went back to India. Whole life india lo spend chesi, aa age lo america ante kastam.
