From my small experience, everyone is  repub/caste & religion fanatics. India or anywhere else, it doesn’t matter whether you live in CA FL TX etc, doesn’t matter the race indians from india, american Indians, caucasian, blacks , hispanics, gipsy hillbillies etc. All liberals are acting leberal anthey, deep down they know it.

It’s nothing to do with desi or telugu. When you are young you try adarsham and andaro samanam, tax the rich, distribute money to poor. It’s always easier to say give money when it’s not your money. 
Then in 30’s you start family and start building wealth appudu it changes because now taxes come out from your money. Your kids need to share schools with ppl who don’t pay taxes.
