Pulka nature kadu bhayya, its proven that when you are young then you are more attracted to communist/socialist/liberal ideas, as you age you become conservative.

Pulkas and backbone are also not same. Backbone also takes years to bend with age, pulkas will jump/bend tomorrow 😀

One reason could be that when Indians come to US, their only focus is on H1B and GC. They know little about Dem, or republican policies/agenda/priorities. They blindly support Dem. By the time they get their GC or Cit, it takes a few years and they learn politics and actually pick and choose a party.

Pretty much all of academia is leftist driven both in US/europe/India, dems have good ecosystem in universities and schools

so younger minds are finetuned to believe that socialism works for all, once you experience that merit and socialism do not work together, you will change mind, hence matured voters are republcians and ignorant youth support dems

It’s nothing to do with desi or telugu. When you are young you try adarsham and andaro samanam, tax the rich, distribute money to poor. It’s always easier to say give money when it’s not your money.
Then in 30’s you start family and start building wealth appudu it changes because now taxes come out from your money. Your kids need to share schools with ppl who don’t pay taxes.

see you are confusing things with welfare with freebies.
while the former helps in uplifting the ppl to contribute to the society and economy while the latter is not.
