Watched to understand why Lanka is really, really dark, dark LOL

To HIDE the really, really poor CGI, VFX and animations in the dark so it is CHEAP to make it! Some scenes are so dark that only Ram is visible barely while the rest of the screen is just like a static pile of mud in the dark (monkeys, etc) in the background - doesn't cost anything for that. In actual stories, Lanka is described as a bright, beautiful place but it is dark in this movie - darker than Tron: Legacy!

The whole movie has like 10-12 real people and the rest is all really, really poor CGI. Animations are really, really bad. Birds, deers, asuras, monkeys, etc. are all bad design and animation. The fight between Vaali and his brother is like a bad joke of 2D images. You watch like less than 10% of Avengers quality, editing, acting, action and seriousness (they copied many shots from Avengers including a superhero suit for Raavan). The only saving grace is Sita who did a GREAT job! Watch the movie for Janaki.

People gave a lot of hype saying Hanuman's entry is awesome but it is just normal. I expected it would be something like Rajnikanth in Pedarayudu or the rattle snake's entry in Rango. ille.

Maybe one-time watch in 3D only. There will be torture from bad editing, elevations and drag. Like when Raavan kidnaps Sita and brings her to Lanka in his helicopter, after landing they drag it on for like 2 minutes to walk just 100 feet distance on the helipad with elevations and BGM. Raavan is shown as a TALL, HUGE guy compared to anyone else.

There are only 2 real 3D effects in the whole movie. A bird and a python popping out of the screen into the auditorium. Seriously? Maree antha karuvu/cheap aa?? Funds bagane dobbesi untar with payments to fake invoices for CGI, VFX and animation.

OM raut main aim is to evade taxes for the producer…he cared less abt the value of the charecters. Just tu tu mantram laga movie teesadu

Lanka was supposed to be such a beautiful place. As per Puranas, it was built for Lord Shiva and Paravati by the divine architect of Devas, Vishwakarma. For the gruha pravesham Ravan was appointed as the priest, and after the puja, he asked for the whole Lanka as Dakshina.
