I have been to this place to try ankapur  chicken not great as advertised but all were 2-3 floor building on either sides. I asked few people there and they told me they are rich by doing agriculture …

1) women empowerment is at peaks, nearly 70-80% of the farmers are women, they work in fields and manage everything. 

2) fertile fields and good irrigation due to SRSP project, 3 crops/year and mostly commercial crops 

3) steady income from agriculture paved the way for the current generation kids from almost every house to get good education and settled abroad.

I have only heard of this place for Ankapur chicken curry.

yaa baa ankapur chicken curry baa..spicy vuntadhi antaaru tried chesa US lo but i dont think it is authentic.
