I think this was also targetted against telugu people. All these years poor hardworking telugu people were sending in dollars.

Delhi doras were enjoying these dollars on defense kickbacks, enjoying natashas- ambanis using their dollars to buy all telecom equipment from china.

Now telugu people realized sending money is waste and suddenly all these restrictions.
