Maintain properties in India post green card?

Hi Friends,

Silly question.I got green card last year and planning to settle here in US and apply citizenship in future.Any problems if we maintain properties in India and also NRI bank accounts on my name or my spouse name?

If the property in India are agricultural lands of significant value, vacant plots etc then act slowly and dispose theM off especially ancestral properties.

agricultural lands makes sense event vacant plots also ?

They do and they will continue owing the properties but if you do not have enough control on the properties then you will eventually loose it for nothing or even if you decide to sell them, local goons will demand a share or else they won’t let you sell. 
 

if you think you own property in India and want to give to your children, trust me your children will never be able to take care of them neither sell and make money. Better dispose them off when you have control over them and think of alternate investment with that money which is more secure like funds or stocks.

Nenu already adhe Disco la vunna anna parents tho. Porollu full americanized obviously. Teenage vachaka yevadu yekkadiki pothado no idea. Next year varaki think cheyyali decent lands ne vunnai amamma thatha nundi Vachinavi and from my ayya. I am not a guy maa ayya naaku ichadu nenu naa forolla ki ivvali. Ikkada next varaki theddu veyyali naalantolla kosam
