i know data collection practices are bad...but that is everywhere...now..

Twitter is basically for news, politicians and companies or organizations… whoever cannot use Instagram (non picture based posts and discussions) will use Twitter..

twitter open sourced only the code related to what tweets that people see and how it is formulated. just to show transparency that he is not blocking stuff. not all the IP data that they own.

not sure if he is asserting that old employees accessed or had copies of their code. not sure how he came to the conclusion but it will be interesting to know. i think the evidence will be given when the lawsuit if filed.

many dont use FB and insta because there is lot of showoff. people stop after a while. maybe they will as they grow out of college life

if you see twitter early history..it got popular because of celebrities on board...

before it become a news app..it is micro blogging...

the same news and politicians and companies ..etc will switch to threads easily...and most of the celebs as well...to avoid blue tick charges...

 

if you know recently ..instagram issued lot of blue ticks to lot of people...now i get it why meta did that...

yeah. there is a reason the IG has more active users than twitter.

twitter is more for people who want to know the latest news and chatter. i use it for my stocks. i see what chatter is going on about my stock and if i need to buy or sell specific stock.

If Twitter can prove that Threads copied Twitter in their design, code, features and convince the court, they can claim damages… but this will take a long time..
