The chip division posted losses.. not the phones and other electronics.. mobile division posted nearly $3b profit.. chip sector follows a cycle where they have huge chip shortages in one year with huge profits and the next year they have plenty of unsold chips they cannot unload..

Storage kuda bagane profits vachinattundi. Their research funding has also not lowered with this downturn. Supply chain issue inka settle kaaledu ee industry lo. By the way, chip cycle is ~3.5yrs. The last one was back in 2017 however.
