hunkyfunky2 Posted July 10, 2023 Report Posted July 10, 2023 ICICI doesn't. I'm not happy with them so far... Too much hassle to do anything. Quote

SBNRI ani app vundhi, using that you can buy mutual funds (Regular). You can buy only mutual funds managed by UTI, Aditya Birla, Quant, Novi, Nippon. Many mutual fund houses and brokers are not selling mutual funds to US/Canada residents as FATCA regulations related to MF are bit trickey. 1 Quote

Is this restriction by actual mutual funds or trading platforms? I was told by ICICI that they decided not to offer, even though it's legal and govt allows it. Quote

Its legal to buy but US/Canada reporting requirements are bit trickey, so some financial instituions are not allowing US residents to buy india MFs. Quote
