This is always a big puzzle for me . Why kapus with majority in vote base don’t have power in politics .

There are a lot of sub castes in Kapu….

Kapu is like an umbrella for sub castes, it’s a generic grouping but when you drill down, you will see many sub castes in Kapu’s, who want representation of their own individually..

Kapurs are not a single wholesome cassette. They have different subcassettes in kapurs. Anduke there is no unity.

Because it’s not natural for castes to unite…especially in politics .

BC’s form 50% of the vote bank but no BC face has ever come closer to becoming a CM….because BC is a grouping, top 4 castes in BC’s dominate this group and the other 100 odd castes oppose domination by the top 4 BC castes….hence you will never see grouping successful. The same goes with Kapu’s

initially TANA started because all doctors and intellectuals wanted to teach their kids about our culture and bring artist  etc here as it was not that easy to travel with work life balance . 

Now - all Chillar people organize to get their commissions and yearly salary - Ex 1 million Food contract spend 200-300k or even 50% rest is more than a years salary of a software engineer .  And Bring all the side actress and run business  instead of real artist values .
