Oka common language unte better vayya. Hindi ne enduku ante for most of north indians/bengali/maratis, i think their native languages has more proximity to hindi than english. 
 

but we south Indians need to put some extra effort to learn. But I’m for 1 common language but not imposition

Andaram south lo ade anukuntam..... but chalaa difference undi Hindi ki and other languages ki. North lo kooda many does't speak/understand hindi. Only north cities lo they understand.
