Why maternity leave is very required for women

Do you all know that % women who are dying after pregnancy increased  in last two decades ?

Maternal mortality is unacceptably high. About 287 000 women died during and following pregnancy and childbirth in 2020

Women go through enormous body and mental stress after delivery .it takes months to recover. Many women cannot recover immediately..any mild sickness will lead to serious health issues..

 

One of my friend who gave birth to a baby boy went back to work within a 6 week maternity leave ..and stress + fatigue weakend her immunity over coming months .. got regular flu..which lead to sepsis and passed away within 24 hours. Her kid is only four months old.

its people choice to man. So priorities important, job, visa vs everything else like family, health unfortunately ppl are choosing wrong one. 
its not their fault we are conditioned to do it man. 

my cousin for 1st kid she didn't take any maternity later she took mat leave and then she left the job for second child. she joined later after one year.

Anni countries 6 months maternity leave istharu okka US tappa. Babies konchem nidra set avvataniki 4-5 months paduthundi kaani people go back to work at 6 weeks. Ante migatha months antha sleep deprived untaaru. Which affects immunity. Not all can afford to stay at home.

ichina desis aunties tesukoru and husband support cheyaru desis are afraid of losing their fcking jobs
