We really appreciate everyone for going through pre-poll predictions of Andhra Pradesh & Telangana
 
We have received few genuine queries regarding:
- 10 percentage points “vote share” for “others” in Andhra Pradesh pre-poll prediction

As per the media sources & common knowledge, It is assumed TDP & Janasena parties will go in alliance for the upcoming elections & the ground survey is collected with “TDP+JSP alliance” option

- Whenever there is a bi-polar election(only 2 major contenders), the scenario of 8-10% vote share for others (Other Parties+Independents+NOTA) is not uncommon, this is also reflective of the extent of vote transfer for alliance from both TDP & Janasena  Parties  

Eg: In 2014, The combined vote share of TDP & BJP alliance (Supported by Janasena Party) and YSRCP is 91.7%. More than 8% votes were polled for others
