Spartan Posted July 17, 2023 Report Posted July 17, 2023 A man was shot during an attempted robbery of an Amazon vehicle on Saturday evening, Amazon confirmed to KRON4. At around 6:11 p.m., officers responded to the report of a shooting at the intersection of Mariposa Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, the San Francisco Police Department said. Officers located a man suffering from gunshot-related injuries, SFPD said. (Photo by Justin Sullivan/Getty Images) The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. An investigation into the incident discovered that an attempted robbery had taken place, police said. No arrests have been made and the suspect fled the scene. “We’re working closely with law enforcement as they investigate this crime and are focused on supporting our team during this difficult time,” Amazon said in a statement to KRON4.
