Do not pay off if your mortgage is less than 4%. 

Also, Its not the right time to Invest. Keep it in Bank for 5% interest or put in fixed deposit for 2 yrs and lock interest rate. You will get better investment opportunities down the road. Until then, make money with interest rates.

Not in savings account.. I will need to liquidate some of my equities.

Investment accounts.. TD ameritrade, fidelity and vanguard mutual funds.

If you have purchased prior to Covid with 2.5% interest rate… don’t pay off. Invest. 
 

if you recently purchased with 6% also don’t pay off. Otherwise you won’t get better deal if you foreclose the house.
