My friend started working from Canada and the FT company said we will have to setup tax for canada because you are working for extended period of time in that country. Indian IT dept is also looking into it anta. But I think if company is not allowing working during a 4 week vacation then that might be due to data policies. 

Unless we tell the employer or explicitly mention during tax filing is it easy for Indian tax dept to find out and coordinate with US employer ?

Dorakanantha varuku all good. But some companies monitor IP to see if laptop is not outside US.
