Went to a grocery store in Dublin, CA and Sona Masoori rice bags are available with signs "Rice returns are not acceptable "

40lb - $48

10lb - $15

I did not notice any 20 lb bags. They were stocking up the isles with more bags.

Yeh ... we created the aritificial price demand and drove up the prices, like we drove up the real estate market in Desi dominated areas

There was no line for rice .. 1-2 ppl buying but no crazy buying. Other rice are at usual prices.

He was looking to buy a car and asked me for suggestion. I gave him some suggestions. He showed me 1 used car deal from dealer for lets say CAMRY for 28K with 25k miles. New one was around 24K and i showed him. A couple of days later he showed another used car deal with 20k miles on it and it was pretty much same price as a new car. After another 1-2 days i got curious why he is looking for used ones and not new as the new ones seem to be cheaper. 

He said he brought a Groupon coupon for CAR DETAILING for $60 and its actual value is worth $200 and wants to use it. Fuse out for me

Maa city la I just walked in to the store and bought a bag of rice, 20 lbs for $29.99. I remember it used to be $16-$17.
