Okay the question can be asked in a different way. Because Hero is the main pillar and most of the times they or their family or family frends produce the movie, 

If you exclude Heros remuneration, the question will be like this:

Why are the Heros paid nothing when even the small artists and daily labourers are paid decent.

 

NB: I got this into my mind because most of the Heros remuneration now a days comes from Area rights, OTT rights etc... mana Sai Reddy gaadiki ee chinna vishayam theliyaka, dabbulu baaga dhengatam alavaatu aipooyi... andharoo YS family laaga dabbulu dhenguthaaru ani fix aipooyi, PK ni direct haa analeeka, Salman Khan ni annaadu..

Cinema aina politics aina same, as long one gets entertained by the star or leader they stay in limelight. Make the same movie with manchu Manoj or manchu Vishnu with more production budget with quality by giving less remuneration. Will you get that money back? It’s a business dude you are paying for entertainment it’s not soci service and they don’t need to consult you right
