In USA you get Brita, which you can take with you anywhere. Has diff models. Costs $15. You need to replace filters which cost about $3 per filter which works for 2-3 months.

Yes. Replace filters after every 2 months. Follow those filter instructions. It purifies water well

Actual ga opika untee, getting water from Walmart costs same as using filters. But too much work to get water every 1-2 weeks. Of course door delivery options are available but cost increases.

PUR tap attachments are good. Not sure about difference in quality compared with BRITA. Easy installation.

I have used both BRITA and PUR. PUR sink attachments are a nuisense esp when dishes in sink. 

Regarding quality - I am not an expert. I don't know how we can measure quality. Need to test these in proper labs to know or rely on online reviews. 

From usage perspective, I like BRITA. Easy to clean and easy to carry everywhere with you. I think PUR has similar models as well. They have TAP models as well along with POUR models.

Go with reverse osmosis system counter top versions. Check the sink faucet type for comparability.
