mettastar Posted August 4, 2023 Author Report Posted August 4, 2023 Midlevel cars and SUVs For now, drivers will probably pay more to charge their Ford Mustang Mach-E, Kia EV6, or Volkswagen ID.4 than to fuel their internal-combustion engine counterparts like the Chevrolet Equinox, Nissan Altima, or Subaru Outback. Charging any of these vehicles at home will run about $12.62 per 100 miles while fueling one at a gas station may run about $11.08. That difference, while not incredibly substantial, may add up — and when these drivers go to a public charging station, they're likely to pay about $16.10 per 100 miles. 1 Quote

hyperbole Posted August 4, 2023 Report Posted August 4, 2023 Power prices are expensive in CA but in other states it is half, I pay $.30 for 1KWH, on 1 KWH I can travel 3.5 miles, 100/3=30 KWH x 0.30 = $9, other states lo idi <$5 gas price where I live is$5.30, 20 miles per galleon anukunna, 5 gallons kavali which is $27 conclusion is that it is a bogus article, even hybrid anukunna 3 gallons kavali Quote

That’s a big diff bokkem kadu...max for japanese cars you do is oil change for 6 months and filters changes once a year or so...in the past 7 years all i spent would be $1000- 1200 but how much is the premium you are paying for EV? EV savings only makes sense if you are commuting a lot 2 Quote
