Slim beauty turns from 54 kg to 250 kg

Marathi actress seeks entry into Guinness Book for donning body make-up weighing 250 kg for 26 hrs.

Trupti Bhoir, who has produced and acted in the Marathi film 'Agadbamb' that revolves around an overweight woman, has sent two entries to the Guinness Book of World Records. One is for shooting the film in 17 days flat with entire body make-up and the second is for shooting a song with make-up put on for 26 hours.

This month,  officials from Guinness Book plan to meet Trupti to verify her claims.

Elated over the bumper opening of her film, Trupti, who's made an amazing on screen transformation, said: "This is the first time a woman has done a complete body make-up. In the past, for films the makeup was restricted to the upper body and mainly the face. But in this film I have used entire body make-up to play a fat woman. It took eight to nine hours to get under the body suit which weighed around 250 kg. I acted and danced in the suit. Physically, it was the biggest challenge. We'd start make-up around 3 am and finish by 11 in the morning," she said.
