Amazon silent layoff - from Blind

Myself and hundreds, if not thousands of Amazonians were hired as virtual (many pre pandemic) and now are given mere months to pack up our lives and move cross country, or “voluntarily resign”, without severance. They are keeping this silent. It’s effectively a layoff without severance and to be determined how many of us will get unemployment (state specific). My hope with this post is that it will make it to the media so people can see that Amazon is not to be trusted as an employer
