Basically they are re-sellers of mortgage for both new homes and refinance. They sell these to banks.

Lets say they are doing a refinance for 10 homes in a month. 1M$ for each house. They would need 10M to begin with. Add another 5m $ for other things.

They are usually quick. Closes re-finance or mortgage with in 3-4 weeks. With in 2-3 months they sell it to a bank getting back their investment plus profit. Rinse and repeat.

Bay area lo ila chala unnai. I did refinance with one of them. Forgot name. near GreatMall.

They are just brokers anna, they will be working with multiple resellers.
