That is too expensive and unsustainable for cars, for bikes it might be OK, currently tesla or any other car battery teyalinate 2-3 days pani, it has lot of components, fluids for cooling the battery, hard case to protect it as against  . Batteries are 30-40% of the car weight and they should be secured properly and that itself defeats the purpose as it might damage the threads on the bolts for repeated replacement.

problem is each manufacturer has 100 odd shapes and models, how do you standardize it? Not feasible even year-to year models doesn’t have same compatibility.

Let's get to fundamentals. Customer requirement batti products ravali. Products chesaru kada ani customer accommodate avvali anadam right kadu. Solid state, Liquid state, gaseous state, naaku anavasaram. Semi-autonomous cars with such features vunnappudu, atleast 8hrs drive kavali if not longer.
