I am a special needs parent for kid with Autism. As far as I know, you cannot tell until the kid is a year old atleast. We would've tried for another kid if there is a chance to know during pregnancy.

My kid was normal until he regressed all his skills at 17months and then was diagnosed officially at 2yrs. Yes, 2nd kid ki vochey chance 20% undhi.

Autism is a life long situation. He started to talk a little bit now at 5yrs but not functional yet. He has zero social skills, cannot convey his needs and receive our instructions, does a lot of repetition etc

Depending on level? You can look at tell. Some has noticable behaviors and some dont- it is a spectrum of issues.

20% chance to get for 2nd kid so we didnt go for it. We are torn between choosing one kid growing up alone vs raising 2 special needs. No past history.

ya, one couple i know, first kid has austim.. they are under same confusion to have second child or not

raising 2 austim kids will be veryyy difficult.

There is nothing in medical science today that can explain on what causes it or how to stop it or how to treat it. Everything you hear is just rumors.

It can be diagnosed after 2yrs also. No one knows why and we can do nothing to prevent it.

It is mostly related to improper neuron synapses.

oh ok, after diagnosed at 2 did you start OT or speech right away? wondering if early intervention helps them to pickup.
