Better try BOA . Not many banks offer HELOC .

are you referring to Home equlity line of Credit? if i remember correctly on my past home in midwest i got this loan for home improvement project like patio and landscaping around 30k usually interest rate regualar mortgage kante 1% ekkuva untadi and term also smaller i guess. 

 

DCU gave the HELOC if that helps.. but also it may depend on state.

not a lot of banks offered it here. I had to go with BOA. vallu processing ki oka laksha documents adigi oka 45 days tiskunnaru to process. it was anything but seamless. little to no communication at all during these 45 days. Only vallaku edhaina documents avasram aithe call/secured email chesevallu.. anthe kani manam enni sarlu email chesina call chesina no response.. no voicemail returned..

interest rate kuda vayinchi dobbuthadu.. i got it for somewhere around 9%.. 30 year term.. andhulo 1st 10 years withdrawal period.

I got HELOC from ThirdFederal last year. It was a smooth process, they charge (prime APR - 1)% interest rate.
