I moved from NJ and am surprised too. I used to pay 200+ for 2 bed appt. In Texas we never got more than 200 for home double the size.

Hot places lo high AC bill ki main reason attics. Get your attic sealed and insulated properly and it will fix your problem. 

Get an energy audit by your utility company and they’ll suggest to add/replace insulation
