Got laidoff and will start my 60days period now. Question about what happens to my i140 (priority date june 2017)?

once you get I140 its for life..even if you go India it stays valid

Sorry to hear ,If it has been approved for 180 days and you stayed in company you can get  h1 rxtension for ever, you employer with draw chesina you can still apply  h1 pd is yours

Try your best, constulancoes etc With in 60 days inka h1 transfer avakapothe b1 option kuda chudu anna once you get job you can apply cos back

if u dont get in 60days.. if u can afford to relax in india just go.. and come when ur pd is current....

Thanks everyone. thats a big relief. This is my status

- wife on h1b, so can go on h4 too

- bay area, own home and 1 kid going to school and mortgage pay cheyali. So cannot take break. 

- been full time from past 8 years and new startup didnt workout (joind 4months back)

- i140 naa prev company chesindi more than 5/6  years ayindi no idea
 

Looks like here arey options

- fulltime apply (interview ichi 9years ayindi, so refresh cheyali and it will take time)

- consultancy if no luck for fulltime within 30days?

- other option h4 if consultancy doesnt work too after 60days?

 Is that good?
