That was because he didn’t have any opposition in the party.. and tdp was in a bad shape.. he could do all he wants and he wanted a good legacy after waiting for so long to become a CM.. he worked towards it..

but when the others were CM’s, he didn’t let them do their job.. Marri chenna reddy told in the assembly that ysr orchestrated Hyderabad communal riots to bring him down… 200 ppl died in those riots.. there was rivalry between telangana reddy’s and Rayalaseema reddy’s… ysr wanted to become a CM and instead Chenna reddy was made a CM.. he tried to bring him down and he succeeded… but nedurumalli was made a CM instead of ysr..

Can’t help.. we Indians are suckers on legacy.. leaders are surrounded by sycophants and they want to groom their kids to take their place in the future.. look at the publicity Himanshu gets or even mokshagna gets..

Jagan got huge publicity when ysr was cm.. I still remember when he came to Kakinada for some reason and there was a huge car rally and posters all over Kakinada about Jagan.. ysr was just 2 years into his rule.. I was surprised and wondered what is so great about Jagan that required that level of welcoming.. may be he liked that and wanted to have that level of following all his life..
