$4k per month mortgage and property taxes - utilities, home insurance, internet, lawn mowing, etc anni inko 1K… total 5K per month just for the home maintenance.. upgrades and upkeep extra..

apartment lo unnapudu anni Kalipi 2k ayyedi.. no maintenance or any other work.. own house lo entha pani chesinaa, ni yavva edo oka pani kanpisthune untaadi.. on top of it, house cleaning gurinchi wife tho fights.. kids ki clean cheyyadam nerpaleka ado torture.. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Thats what, I am surprised too.

My first home loan was in India for 5 Lakh INR in 2003, paying monthly instalment of INR 4,750 for a flat in Vijayawada, where parents are living.

The EMI came to around INR 9,000 by 2014, which is not really a pain because:

1. The Value of the flat in 2014 time was calculated to be around 15 Lakhs (nearly three times original price).

2. Due to inflation, 4,750 in 2003 is same as INR 9000 in 2014...no pain at all for me.

3. My salary got multiplied by many folds even before I left India in 2009.... Even if I were to stay in India, my NET salary in 2014 would gave been at least 4 times that of my 2003 NET salary.

 

Does any one single thing among the above three happen in USA, in next 5-10 years?

The max mortgage that I can stretch to is 3000. With these interest rates, em ravatle .. so will keep waiting ,
