C1 c2 although partially success, but never did soft landing, they both did their jobs 95% and failed soft landing.. 

India is 4th nation to do a soft lunar landing mission.

India is the first to land lunar mission in south pole of moon, not exactly south pole, but 125 km away from souht pole towards south east - where there is sun light available.. It is a great achievement which no country tried till now, all the landings done by other countries are in North, central, east and west, but india is first to do in south east. 

Main special is India Isro is trying to achieve space missions in a very cost effective way, which till date no nation has achieved. For example Russia's recent luna 25 failed mission costed them 1650 Crores, while Chandrayaan 3 mission is 615 crore. 

we are definitely not in race and behind with powerful nations, but with the budget money we got we are doing a great job slow and steady. Future Isro missions are very powerful too.
