After covid from Dec 2021 to August 2023 around 5 lakh Telugu master’s students came for master’s in USA. Consulates gave student visas left and right because Universities were short of money because of covid.

On top of these 5 lakhs Every year another 1 to 2 lakhs are coming.

It's all optimism Anna. 5 lacs vachina and naa application pick avachu from 85000. GC anatava ,  many people are working on work permits without GC for years & earning money . Will follow same path.

In general, Students who do Masters have no advantage over the American students who do bachelors in US. There are no jobs that def need Masters. Also their status OPT/H1 is a huge disadvantage to them.

Luckily for them, not many americans in IT. But it is changing going forward. Lot of indian kids (Citizens) are taking IT jobs these days.

When it comes to hiring, companies mostly prefer bachelor students (campus hiring), Intern jobs getting permanent. 

It will get difficult but Indians are smart and easily adapt and good at finding opportunities. They will figure this out. Else they go back.
