2) Yes there are telugu upper caste  who look down on tamils. But there is nothing "telugu" about it. It is an indian thing. Once you identify as an indian you naturally put hindi on pedestal...their fairer skin is seen as more desirable..and based on how far away they are culturally and appearance wise they are hated that much. tamils being southern most and darkest along with north easterns carry the most burden.

3) Plenty of telugu people face same racism from marathis, biharis etc. One of my cousin told me they used to call cricketer Kamble as andhra looking cricketer because he is darker.

4) you can see that in langas too. They show their superiority complex to andhras by identifying them as more southern than themselves and tying them to tamils. The most popular langa slogan in 60s was "idly sambar go back" - they used that against andhras.

you can also see that in @Android_Halwa ("a nice guy except he hates muslims thats all" as per @Tryad - lmao) who constantly compares andhras with tamils.

5)The most pathetic racist scum towards tamils are these malayali nairs and brahmins and other filth as such. Just because they have shade lighter skin than tamils they think they are more "indian" than tamils and their indian nationalism is the MOST unpleasant to bear.
