I think you are one of few who understood the movie for what it is - it's about 3 flawed characters ... Side hero is not established properly ( director says it's because of time) . 

Arjun Reddy is about 1 flawed character. 

These are not template movies.

Contrary to the opinions in the DB, BABY movie is decent. I would still put it in a Nibba-Nibbi movie category. Director screwed the characterizations of hero1, hero2 and heroine. It was not very convincing in 1st half. Makes no sense why heroine's friends try to help her look good. The reason that she will help with lab notes, etc does not make sense as they showed heroine is not good at studies. Acting in 1st half is below average by everyone.

But 2nd half esp last 1 hr is good. Nice ending to the story. Sensible.
