I was going through posts about desis cheating desis. Will come up with mine.

 

When my wife moved to the Bay area circa 2016 for LinkedIn , she got in an accomodation near the campus with a Desi girl, going by the social media, she did belong to a pretty well to do good family in India.Anyway, she took a deposit for moving in, and just like that, after a couple of months, she just became abaconding. My wife later found out that she never actually gave that deposit to the housing complex ,rather just usurped it. 

 

It was quite a shock as to how very well spoken well to do girls can be such a big fraud. The money was transferred to her then Bf's account who is working in Nvidia (just imagine his RSU value now). We reached out to her bf as well but no response. The guy is now married to someone else , so good riddance, but just imagine, how educated erudite people can also be frauds!
