A woman in Port St. Lucie, Florida, shocked both hospital staff and law enforcement when she allegedly stole an ambulance from a local hospital. The woman, identified as Marquisa Allen, had reportedly left the hospital in the stolen ambulance while wearing a hospital gown. Surveillance footage from the hospital captured the incident, showing Allen sitting on a bench in front of the hospital before getting up and walking towards two parked ambulances. She walked past them initially but then turned back. A few seconds later, the stolen ambulance was seen driving away from the scene. She was apprehended after a brief pursuit by the Highway Patrol.
