For whatever reason, Caste feelings have grown a lot in US than in India. People taking our car rally's when their caste hero movie releases. People supporting their caste party blindly. All sorts of stupidity. 

I blame social media for this. Mostly, people are nice to everyone on face. But with Social media, it gave a voice for their deep inner devils to come out and spit venom.
