A Delta Airbus A350 had to return to Atlanta following to an unfortunate incident involving a passenger with severe diarrhea. In a text message sent to Air Traffic Control, the captain was succinct in explaining the problem: 'Divert to ATL - passenger diarrhea all over aircraft - biohazard'. The aircraft returned to base and underwent a five hour cleanup operation. The plane later resumed its journey to Barcelona after an eight-hour delay. Air traffic control audio recordings also reveal one of the pilots confirming the situation over the radio.
