It was funny when D. Srinivas claimed the CM post when YSR did all the hard work (Padayatra) during 2004. His reason was that he was PCC chief and a BC.

kanna Lakshmi Narayana, Anam Ramnarayana Reddy these two were offered at the time of bifurcation to check mate Kiran Kumar Reddy. Both accepted but Congress could not pull off the swtich.

MS Satyanarayana (he was offered at one time by IndiraGhandi, but he rejected for National politics), Jaipal Reddy was offered the CM post, he rejected too for the sake of telangana
