Greatness of BR Ambedkar

BR Ambedkar was a genius for the following reasons

1. He mentioned Bharat in constitution so that we don't suffer from low self esteem

2. He advocated division of states based on language. Language is the lowest common denominator to bind people. If language doesn't bind people then very difficult with other attributes

3. He DID NOT advocate secularism. India is a pluralistic society not secular society. "Secular" was put into constitution in 1970's  after his passing away. Many people think pluralism and secularism are same. It is not. Look at the mess we are having now regarding dress codes, religious practices etc

4. Although India looked towards Soviet Russia he did not want it to be a communist state. He knew the history of India and giving so much power to ruling class would invite trouble. He wanted private ownership.

5. He made a very valid point that if Mohammedans and Sikhs demand special country carved out for them then so should backward castes of India because they were always ruled over by upper castes, Mohammedans and Christians. If you observe most of the private property and the ruling class (Legislature, Judiciary, Executive, Media) are not from backward castes.

It's time for Ambedkar's wish to be fulfilled in our country. Better late than never. Private property should be accounted for and should be distributed to backward castes and for the next 4 generations Legislature, Judiciary, Executive, Media should only have people of backward castes. All the hypocrites would be weeded out.
