Midnightsun Posted September 6, 2023 Report Posted September 6, 2023 Good morning I just followed the launch of Aditya on ISRO website. I realized that the scientists are basically working blind. They monitor the rocket performance from various data numbers coming on radio. The position and speed and direction comes from various monitoring satellites. Performance comes from engine Data, temperature, burn rate of fuel, and a Thousand other sensors. Even in Chandrayan3 They landed the module on the Moon only based on this data. The first time They saw the Chandrayan was when Rover went down and took it's picture and sent it to earth! My wife does exacky the same thing. She is in the Hall watching TV and asks me to switch on the Gas with Pressure Cooker mounted. When it whistles 2 times she asks me to turn the Gas to sim. And then after 15 mins she asks me to shut down the Gas. After another 20 Minutes she asks me to open it and lo ! The Daal and Rice is ready while she controls everything from Hall. No wonder so many scientists in ISRO are women 😂😂😂 1 Quote
