I am 3 weeks postpartum and my husband has hit me today because of frustation. He wants to invest his paternity in interviews and i am the only one awake at night and taking care of baby during the day. I am working woman and we share all bills equally but not household responsibilities. I am considering to live life like a single mom which is better than just being married for the tag. My arm where he twisted and hit badly is still paining as I already have lots of muscle weakness. Do you think as a woman i am thinking in right direction? I am doing financially well to take care of myself and baby

Yes definitely. Generally it is recommended to not take divorce in postpartum but physical violence when recovering especially before 6 weeks is absolutely the worst.
